| So, I've come to a decision. The ipod has officially been named Mephistopheles. And I think some of the other names will go to other appliances around the house. The printer is now Bernard, because it acts like a crotchety old man. And we got a new toaster oven!! One that the door on it actually stays closed, lol.

| What I Learned Today: 1. I really don't like Root Beer anymore. It totally used to be my favorite soda, too. Now it tastes funny. 2. Ni stands for Nickel, not Nitrogen. 3. I stink at memorizing the periodic table.... and I have to do it for my online Chem course for NCSSM. 4. My job is really boring. 5. I really, really, really, really miss my friends who are across the country & all over the world.
So.... I've been asking everyone for ideas for my ipod's name, and I've thought up some ideas myself. I've narrowed the list down a little, and I'm just wondering which ones other people like best. 1. Atticus 2. Mr. Butterbur (from Lord of the Rings) 3. Cassius 4. Dante 5. Andre 6. Ferdinand 7. Sophocles 8. Mephistopheles (Because it's a red ipod, and because my parents think it's evil.)

| I am officially in love with my ipod. Next to Claudia (my laptop) and Maina (my phone), it's definitely my favorite electronic possession. But.... I still haven't thought up a good name for it. My philosophy on naming appliances is that they'll behave better if I'm nice to them, lol. So it's a boy ipod. Anyone have any good ideas for a name?

| So I'm finally back in North Carolina. I'm so glad to be home. My house smells so good... like, just because it's my house, if that makes any sense at all. Kira was sooooo excited when we picked her up from the kennel. She jumped up on me, and that was the first time she's EVER jumped up. She's actually very well behaved most of the time. Swim practice today was.... interesting. I'm out of shape because of vacation, so it was hard. And I was also taken by surprise. Someone was there who I thought wasn't going to be. It wasn't a pleasant surprise. Especially when that person beat me in freestyle! But anyways, guess what!!! While I was in New York, I got my ears pierced a second time!! So now, I have two earrings in both ears. I think it looks very pretty.

| Now I'm in New York!!! I've gotta say, I actually miss New Jersey. I mean, I did get my butt kicked on a daily basis in NJ, but at least that was interesting. I don't think I'm very good with little girls. Guess I'm too used to the raving lunatics I call brothers.
